No diversion. Period. It is a bad road to go down, and poor precedent.Erik Helmhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00727530868264488710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4058962093581287237.post-46845785915891979062009-03-26T12:39:00.000-05:002009-03-26T12:39:00.000-05:00Agreed. I've been following your blog because I don't know much at all about the dam situation (ha kinda of funny) but I think we all can agree that the Waukesha diversion should not happen.Dave Reidhttp://urbanmilwaukee.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4058962093581287237.post-8764206620522809582009-03-26T13:35:00.000-05:002009-03-26T13:35:00.000-05:00Waukesha used to be known as Spring City and had h...Waukesha used to be known as Spring City and had huge freshwater resources. Due to poor land use decisions and over use they now have a problem. There should not be one drop of water leaving the basin. Waukesha Co needs to learn how to live within there means and giving them water from the great lakes sets a horrible percedent. Freshwater is one of the truely valuable natural resources and the great lakes are ground zero for this new battle.willie dynamitenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4058962093581287237.post-24418935713503471052009-03-29T11:52:00.000-05:002009-03-29T11:52:00.000-05:00I live in Saukville close to the Milwaukee River.T...I live in Saukville close to the Milwaukee River.
This morning I went out to shovel an a OTTER ran across my driveway and slid down my front lawn.
Last week I saw one In Hartford running across HWY 60 which is close to the Rubicon River.
kind of a coincidence.irishmexmixhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05480485725424682117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4058962093581287237.post-82715818331663324862009-03-29T12:02:00.000-05:002009-03-29T12:02:00.000-05:00Super cute!!! I wonder if there is empirical data to support the anecdotes- maybe the DNR has it the way they have the fish reports. The River Otterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14134730885556815560noreply@blogger.com
